Today is Monday, which means it's a rest day and a travel day for me. I drive back to my graduate school every Monday for class, and then go spend the evening in my hometown with my parents. While I am there I am probably going to bug my dad about my hip, but I still plan on seeing someone in sports medicine when I get back down here.
Since I'm not training today, I have something else for you. I got my first request for a post! KC asked me to post a video of me actually singing the National Anthem, and I think that's a pretty good idea! The only real video I have of the whole anthem is from a women's ice hockey game last year.
Unfortunately in the video I am behind the referees for the whole beginning. Eventually they will move out of the way and you'll see me, but for the most part you'll just have to listen and stare at the refs chewing gum. hehe. Here it is!

ReplyDeleteWoW!!! What a voice you have. That was one of the most beautiful singing of the anthem I've heard in a long, long time. Thank you for sharing and thanks for not butchering it up like too many singers try to do. Bravo!!!!
